Garden Landscaping
After a competitive quote John was able to provide references, which confirmed my initial impression i had, he was trust worthy and honest. So after hiring him the work was started on time and even after some supplier difficulties John showed his commitment to finishing, working unplanned days. Overall the job was finished to a high standard on time and my garden left clean and tidy. I will not hesitate to call on his services again and recommend his work to friends and family.
Garden Transformation.
Our garden was unsafe and unusable for me and my small children, It was on various different levels and horrible to look at. John did an excellent job of transforming our garden by removing tons of soil and we now have a beautiful garden - a large patio on ground level and then steps leading to a large lawn. John also used railway sleepers to hold back some of the soil and to build a wall. I would highly recommend John
Pointing and Rendering
John was very polite and honest and explained the job in detail. He even looked at other jobs that were taking place in my home and explained what needed to be done. He was in regular contact by phone and email and cleaned up when he finished. Although he was originally hired to complete my rendering i also hired him to sort out a drainage problem. Both jobs he completed within the set timescales. I would definitely hire again.
Strip Floor and Replace
Mr Flanagan arrived promptly with his assistant to start the job. There had been a major flood at the property and the floor had to be replaced. There was a hot water tank on the shelf and this too had to be removed for John to do the job properly, and the shelf rebuilt. The Tank was removed very carefully, and the floor was ripped up in no time at all. There were a few problems due to the previous floor being at a different level, but John adjusted it, and assured me that when the tiller came in after him, he would be able to level it, so he could tile, which was the case. Mr Flanagan is a competent builder and has a lot of experience in the structural side of building. I certainly will be asking Mr Flanagan to do more work at the next property, and I fully recommend him to any Mybuilder customers. Thank you John.

John came to view the job at time specified and quickly identified that there may be a problem with the drain which had been installed by a previous builder. This proved to be correct as John discovered when the job commenced which he corrected. job took 3.5 days and he worked a good 8 hour shift each day (along with his mate) area kept clean and tidy on completion each day and rubbish removed. John communicated on a regular basis and kept us in touch as he couldn't complete the job due to the weather, but we knew exactly when he was coming back and arrived promptly to complete the job as promised. work done as quoted and also did some additional work which we had not specified at the time and this was done at a very reasonable cost and again to a high standard. we have no hesitation in recommending John and have requested quotes for further work. very pleased with the end result.
